How Does the Thyroid Function Affect the Sport?

Abstract

Some authors have speculated that the symptomatic chain of the thyroid function was linked to the alteration of basal metabolism that occurs during the Dysthyroidism. Other researchers, though, suggest that changes of the cardiovascular apparatus ought to be put in relation to a direct action of thyroid hormones on the heart. However, it can be stated that in the determination of the heart phenomenology, during the thyroid disease, are implicated both direct and indirect effects.
