CAUSES OF DROPOUTS (2011) AT PRIMARY SCHOOL LEVEL IN ZONE BEERWAH, DISTRICT BUDGAM, J&K
Abstract
Dropout is the extent to which students fail to complete the school programmes. This main objective of this study was to find out the causes of dropouts at primary level in Zone Beerwah, District Budgam, J&K. it was found that they fail repeatedly in the examinations. They feel their parents are not interested in educating them. Their parents do not feel the necessity of educating all children in the family. There is lack of community participation in school activities.
